1. Provider and scope

The provider is Nürburg Guide UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Wennerscheiderstraße 155, 53819 Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, Germany, email info@nuerburgguide.de. These terms govern use between the provider and the user. Apple and Google store terms may apply in addition.

2. Purpose and information character

The app provides digital information and orientation around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, including track status, weather, maps, points of interest, location-based functions, reports and links to external services. It is not an official warning, safety, rescue, navigation or guidance system.

Official information, flags, signals, signs, marshal instructions and instructions from the track operator always take priority. Information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or unavailable.

3. Safe use and responsibility

The app must not distract anyone while driving or in another safety-critical situation. The driver may not operate the app while driving; a passenger may operate it, or the driver only when the vehicle is safely stopped and use is lawful and safe.

Users remain responsible for safe driving, applicable laws, track rules, official instructions and assessing the actual situation on site.

4. Location, reports and emergency functions

Some map, navigation and reporting features require location permission. Misleading, manipulated or abusive reports are prohibited. The SOS function only opens the device phone app with a stored number; it does not place an automatic emergency call and does not replace official emergency services.

5. External services and availability

Maps, weather, hosting, backend, stores and other third-party services may be used. Their terms and privacy information may apply. The provider does not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy or completeness and may change or discontinue functions for technical, legal, economic or safety reasons.

6. Misuse and intellectual property

Users must not damage the service, bypass restrictions, manipulate location or reports, automate mass requests or use the app unlawfully. The app, its content, design, logos and data structures are protected. Use is granted only for lawful personal purposes under these terms.

7. Liability and law

Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. To the extent legally permitted, liability for ordinary negligence and for relying exclusively on app information contrary to these terms is excluded. German law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.

8. Changes and termination

The user may stop using the app by uninstalling it. The provider may update these terms for objective reasons, including technical developments, legal changes, third-party changes and security requirements. The current version is published on this page.
